Please join us in welcoming our new Program Associate, Carla Land. We’re excited to expand our team! Carla will help CFF to enhance our capacity to advance equity and deploy resources strategically. She will focus on our workforce development grant programs. Carla looks forward to maximizing her nonprofit experiences as a grant writer and program manager to help CFF’s grantees reach their goals. Having spent the last seven years serving the Austin community, Carla’s familiarity with the West Side will further our ability to build reciprocal relationships with local non-profits.

Prior to joining the Christopher Family Foundation, Carla served as the Director of Development and Communications at PCC Community Wellness Center, where she managed a portfolio of federal, state, city, and foundation grants to increase health care access for families and individuals on the West Side. In addition, she coordinated marketing, internal communications, and community engagement. Carla also gained valuable experiences providing technical assistance to small business owners while working as a program manager for Greater Southwest Development Corporation. Carla is an alumna of the University of Pennsylvania—Wharton School, where she holds a B.S. in economics with a focus on entrepreneurial management. In her spare time, she enjoys trying new restaurants and dancing.
